Sadly, members of Ipswich BHC, including The VIPs, have been obliged to cancel all forthcoming rehearsals because of the need to protect themselves and each other from the effects of the Coronavirus. Bookings of our rehearsal venue have been cancelled, as have future performance bookings, including Bacton WI on 27th June.

We will resume as soon as our Government decides that it is safe to do so. Our facebook page will carry details of any tech. savvy attempts to sing together on line.

Meanwhile, on these pages you will find lots to interest singers and audience alike.

Our main singing group is The VIPs, a 20-strong Men's Barbershop Chorus, now entering its seventh year. We have sung all over Suffolk and competed in five National Conventions since we started in 2013.

We also have a Quartet and some of our members are starting a mixed chorus with some keen ladies, so there's plenty of opportunity for singing.
